Muscatine Catholic Community Youth Ministry really does have something for everybody!  Here are a few of the great programs we offer every year.

High School Youth Group If you’re a high school student looking for a way to grow your relationship with Christ then High School Youth Group is the place for you!  We meet most Sunday nights (check the calendar for times & locations) for good times, games, food, awesome discussions and activities.

Middle School Youth Group A great chance for students in grades 6-8 to get together to hang out, play some crazy games, and learn about their faith!  Check the calendar for times & locations.

Youth Leader Team A chance for young people in grades 9-12 to help plan their parish YOUTH ministry program.  YLT members serve for a year, and help decide the youth ministry calendar, choose service projects, lead events, and more!  Talk to Chris for more information.

Romans 12:2   A program devoted to helping high school juniors and seniors develop discipleship habits that will last a lifetime.  Romans 12:2 includes a weekly small-group meeting and daily individual guided devotions.  New Romans groups form in February.  Talk to Chris for more information

Local Service Projects Service to others is a huge part of who we are as Catholic Christians!  Our parish youth ministry plans and performs a variety of local service projects throughout the year.  Some recent events have included: Fall Fling Yard Clean Up Halloween Trick or Treat for Food Decorating for Christmas @ MCSA Souper Bowl of Caring

National Catholic Youth Conference   This national gathering gives young people an opportunity to experince the universality of the Catholic Church, and to hear from world class speakers and musicians.  Students in grades 9-12 are eligable to make this pilgramage in odd numbered years.

Retreats Getting away from the world and spending some quailty time with God is a big part of who we are.  That is why we offer three different retreat opportunities for our high school students every year.  For freshmen and sophomores there's Quest; for sophomores & juniors it's COR, and for juniors and seniors it's TEC.

Catholics In Action Service Retreat   So why exactly do we do all this service stuff?  Great question!  To help you answer it we offer this three-day, two-night service retreat for high school students.  Learn about Catholic Social Teaching, and put your faith into action through direct service in SE Iowa!

High School Service Trip This week-long program gives high school students an opportunity to have an intense emersion experience in another culture, and to put their Catholic-Christian faith into action through direct service.

Christian Leadership Institute CLI is a week-long leadership training program that enables high school students to develop their god-given gifts and talents and leadership potential, and encourages them to become leaders in their parish, school and community.
